OTHER PROJECTS

Authorial projects developed by Maíra C. Gamarra

This section brings together authorial projects, collaborative initiatives, and platforms developed or coordinated by Maíra C. Gamarra throughout her career. These projects are dedicated to exchange, education, research, curatorship, and the development of artistic processes, with a focus on building networks and fostering the critical circulation of images.

Rather than secondary activities, they operate as spaces for experimentation, encounter, and collective construction, expanding ways of thinking, producing, and sustaining critical ecosystems for photography and visual culture.

Mira Latina

Mira Latina is an organization dedicated to the creation and development of ideas that, through art and photography, seeks to promote and encourage artistic actions and experiences, fostering new spaces for dialogue and exchange among visual creators and professionals from different countries. The project emerged from the desire to explore and reveal Latin American photography and art and aims, among other objectives, to contribute to expanding visual repertoires, narrowing borders, stimulating exchange through contemporary production, and promoting social transformation.
